3 x 12 hr. shifts per week on the Night Shift (7p - 7a) + rotating weekends

About the Role

Central Carolina Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. As a Registered Nurse on the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team, you will provide exceptional care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ICU is an 8-bed unit that cares for a diverse patient population, allowing nurses to work in a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio with occasional 1:3 ratios.

You'll Contribute
  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  • Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
  • Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Qualifications
  • Current North Carolina state or compact state RN license.
  • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Associate's degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • One year of RN experience in a health care setting preferred.
