About the RoleCentral Carolina Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. As a Registered Nurse on the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team, you will provide exceptional care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ICU is an 8-bed unit that cares for a diverse patient population, allowing nurses to work in a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio with occasional 1:3 ratios.
HowYou'll Contribute
- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

- Current North Carolina state or compact state RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Associate's degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- One year of RN experience in a health care setting preferred.
