Job Overview
Position:
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)
Location:
Central Carolina Hospital, Lee County, North Carolina.
Schedule:
3 to 12 hour shifts per week on the night shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) plus rotating weekends.
Commitment Bonus: $20,000.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Be responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Current North Carolina state or compact state RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced certification required within 90 days of hire.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Associate's degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- One year of RN experience in an OB/L&D/PP/Nursery setting preferred.
