Central Carolina Hospital – A Duke LifePoint Hospital 1135 Carthage St Sanford, NC 27330. This 137‑bed acute care hospital serves the residents of Lee County with a wide range of specialties including cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, hospitalist services, intensivists, nephrology, hematology, urology, podiatry, pulmonary medicine and wound care. The facility is certified by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and by the American College of Cardiology as a Chest Pain Center, and has earned Advanced Heart Failure Accreditation from the American College of Cardiology.
In 2024 it received the American Heart Association's Get With The Guidelines Stroke Rural Recognition Silver Award.
Orientation is weekly, on Mondays – Local Rate: $48;
Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel
