• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710-$1,800

• Location Highlights: Convenient access to Raleigh, Durham, the Research Triangle, the North Carolina coast, and the Blue Ridge Mountains

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department or emergency nursing experience
• ADN required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications
• De-escalation training such as HWC, CPI, or MAB
• Experience with trauma nursing, resuscitation, IV therapy, IV drips, oxygen support, and blood products
• Basic telemetry and EKG knowledge
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency room environment
• Psych ER experience is a plus

• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a busy ER nursing environment
• Support treatment for COPD, DKA, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, neurological emergencies, and stroke
• Initiate and manage IV access, IV drips, oxygen therapy, and blood product administration
• Provide trauma-informed, resuscitative, and rapid-response nursing care
• Monitor telemetry and EKG findings as part of ongoing patient care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, providers, and the ED team to promote efficient patient flow
• Float as needed and assist with a variety of emergency care needs
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a high-acuity clinical setting
