Aboutthe Role
Tri Scapes, in partnership with TotalPML in Sanford, FL, is seeking a dependable and skilled Driver / Crew Lead to join our growing team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, directing a landscape maintenance crew, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and safely transporting personnel, tools, and equipment to job sites across the region.
Duties- Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew to execute daily maintenance contracts efficiently and to high standard
- Direct routine landscape tasks including turf management, pruning, edging, weeding, debris cleanup, and property inspections
- Safely operate company vehicles and trailers to transport crews and equipment
- Strict compliance with all company safety requirements on site and on the road
- Perform basic pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections, communicating repairs to management/mechanics as needed
- Coordinate daily routes with field management, completing jobs efficiently, and mentoring/developing new crew members
- Active, valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
- At least 2 years experience in landscape maintenance or familiarity with equipment, material, and best practices
- Proven leadership experience directing small crews, managing work loads, and active problem solving
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a crew
- Prior experience in commercial or high-end residential landscape maintenance
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
