This is an on-site role at Kings River Packing, LP headquarters office in Sanger, CA. The Senior Allocation Specialist supports sales and operations by coordinating and executing same-day and next-day orders across multiple packing houses. This role serves as a key liaison between the Sales team and packing house management, ensuring accurate allocations, timely problem resolution, and clear communication. The Senior Allocation Specialist applies sound judgment and strong analytical skills to address daily operational challenges, support customer satisfaction, and contribute to continuous improvements within the allocation process.
AboutThe Role
- Track shed allocations against targets and assign orders accordingly.
- Track turndown / kickback orders at each shed.
- Collaborate with packing facilities on challenging orders, shortages, and pack time limitations to provide fulfillment solutions. Partner with the Sales team to address order issues and implement effective resolutions promptly.
- Act as a liaison between sales and the packing sheds.
- Direct transfers between packing facilities.
- Coordinate with transportation and shed teams to optimize delivery schedules / order pick up times.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments.
- Audit Order Transfers.
- Provide support to QC and shed operations during the import season, as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and data entry skills.
- Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Team-oriented, service-focused attitude.
- Ability to work occasional overtime.
- Ability to participate in a scheduled on-call rotation, including evenings and Saturdays.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across a variety of communication tools and platforms.
- Annual Salary $71,000 – $85,000, DOE
