Accounting Manger

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established organization with a strong focus on financial accuracy, operational discipline, and sustainable growth. They are seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead core accounting functions and support strategic financial decision-making across the organization.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining effective internal controls, and managing a small accounting team. This role works closely with senior leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives.

• Oversee and support a team responsible for general accounting activities
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and professional development
• Identify training needs and promote continuous improvement within the team

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including period-end close processes
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports

• Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses
• Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Provide insights and recommendations to leadership to support business decisions

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate audit activities and serve as a key point of contact for external partners
• Support tax-related processes and annual filings, as applicable

• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Significant progressive experience in accounting or financial management
• Demonstrated leadership experience within an accounting function
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
