Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be a key member of the accounting team, responsible for full cycle accounting activities, month end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation across multiple entities. This role works closely with leadership and has direct exposure to the CFO.

• Own full cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and month end close
• Prepare and review bank and credit card reconciliations
• Handle intercompany transactions, allocations, and consolidations
• Support financial statement preparation and reporting
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including wholesale AR
• Assist with payroll processing and contractor payments
• Ensure accurate sales tax filings and compliance
• Maintain clearing accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Help maintain a 13 week cash flow forecast
• Ensure transactions are coded correctly by entity, department, and cost center
• Partner cross functionally with Operations, FP and A, and Cost Accounting
• Support process improvements as the company grows

• Reports directly to the CFO

• Quick Books Online currently
• Transitioning to Net Suite
• Microsoft Excel
• Google Workspace
• Sales tax tools such as Avalara or Vertex a plus
• Project management tools like Click Up or  a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4 plus years of accounting experience
• Experience in service based, marketing, ecommerce, or wholesale environments
• Strong full cycle accounting background
• Hands on experience with reconciliations, month end close, and financial statements
• Strong Quick Books Online experience and ability to transition to Net Suite
• Multi entity and consolidation experience strongly preferred
• International accounting exposure a plus
• Proactive personality with a mindset for improving processes
