Cost Accounting Manager

Build the financial backbone of a company that builds the machines that power the future for clean energy and space exploration.

The Cost Accounting Manager will own cost accounting, and revenue recognition for a project-based, custom manufacturing — partnering closely with operations, project management, and leadership to keep margins visible.

• Month-end close for cost accounting
• Percentage-of-Completion revenue recognition
• Project financials: cost-to-complete, margin analysis, forecast updates
• Unbilled revenue and deferred revenue
• Standard cost updates and variance analysis across labor, material, and overhead
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Budget and forecast cycles at the project and company level
• Managing a team of Accountants and Cost Accountants reporting to you
• Audit support and US GAAP / IFRS compliance for revenue and contract accounting

• 7+ years in accounting or finance, with real depth in cost accounting and margin analysis
• Strong POC / ASC 606 revenue recognition experience
• Background in a project-based or long-term-contract environment — engineered products, capital equipment, aerospace, defense, or similar
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
