Overview

Aux Talent is partnering with a well-established construction company in Santa Ana, CA to hire an Office Operations Manager who will serve as a key operational partner to company leadership. This is much more than a traditional Office Manager role. You'll become the operational backbone of the business—supporting leadership, managing critical accounting and administrative functions, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring projects continue moving efficiently across multiple active job sites.

This is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, thrives in a dynamic setting, and isn't thrown off by changing priorities.

Typical responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Oversee daily office operations and administrative workflows
  • Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and collections
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and contractor billing
  • Maintain W-9s, prepare 1099 documentation, and organize project files
  • Support job costing and financial documentation
  • Assist with workers' compensation, insurance documentation, audits, and other operational compliance needs
  • Partner closely with leadership to improve processes, identify efficiencies, and help ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Requirements
  • 3+ years of office management, operations, or administrative experience
  • Construction, contracting, or trade industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Quick Books
    , IES
    , and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
  • Experience supporting payroll and general accounting functions
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities can shift throughout the day
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across leadership, office staff, vendors, and field teams
  • Bilingual Spanish is a significant plus
  • Microsoft Office Suite
Schedule

Full-time, in office (Monday-Friday)

Compensation

$75,000-$85,000 base salary + benefits
