Position: Receptionist (Contract)

Overview

We are seeking a warm, professional, and detail-oriented Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact s part-time, three (3) month contract role provides front-desk coverage, administrative and office support, and coordination assistance to ensure on-site meetings and visits are executed seamlessly.

This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes pride in maintaining an organized workplace, and is committed to delivering a positive, service-oriented experience for both internal teams and external guests.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Greet and assist visitors, candidates, vendors, and employees in a warm, professional manner
  • Welcome and support clients arriving for custom shade / color match appointments, coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth and timely experience
  • Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries, routing messages appropriately
  • Coordinate visitor sign‑ins and support site access and safety procedures
  • Provide general office and administrative support as needed to People, Operations, and other teams
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, and on‑site visits
  • Support conference room setup for meetings, including room readiness, materials, and basic A/V setup
  • Order lunches and refreshments for meetings, interviews, and events as requested
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and shipments
  • Maintain organization of reception, conference rooms, and common areas
  • Monitor and restock breakroom, reception, and office supplies as needed
  • Coordinate with vendors or internal partners for office‑related needs
  • Help ensure the workplace remains clean, welcoming, and well‑stocked throughout the day
  • Serve as a central point of communication between front‑of‑house and internal teams
  • Support employee, candidate, and client experience initiatives, including interview days and onboarding support
  • Assist with special projects or events as assigned during the contract period
Who We’re Looking For
  • Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative, or customer service role preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional presence
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to support office and administrative needs as they arise
  • Proficiency with basic office tools (email, calendars, phone systems; Microsoft Office preferred)
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working a consistent part‑time schedule
  • 25-30 hours per week
  • 5–6 hours per day
    , Monday–Friday (schedule to be confirmed)
  • 3 month temporary contract
  • This role is not benefits-eligible and is intended to support business needs during a defined period

The anticipated hourly pay for this role is $18-20/hour. Final compensation will be individually assessed and may differ based on a variety of factors such as your experience, qualifications, education, skill set, certifications, and other relevant considerations.
