Overview:

As SKDLA continues to grow, we are looking for a Operations Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting production flow and customer experience. This position sits at the intersection of customer communication and operational execution, ensuring cases progress efficiently through each stage of production. Serving as a primary point of coordination for assigned workflows and accounts, the Operations Coordinator proactively manages case holds, coordinates updates, and collaborates closely with business development and production teams to keep work moving without disruption.

You will act as a key liaison between doctors, sales, and internal operations—ensuring visibility, accountability, and timely resolution across the full case lifecycle. Familiarity with dental lab workflows is important, and exposure to dental implants is considered a strong plus.

What You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day inbound and outbound customer service calls and emails within your assigned Business Unit.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with dental offices regarding case status, timelines, delays, and expedited requests, including implant-related cases as applicable.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate notes in the lab software system to ensure transparency and alignment across teams.
  • Actively manage and resolve case holds at all stages, coordinating with internal teams to remove barriers and return cases to production.
  • Reschedule cases within the lab software system and proactively notify accounts of updated delivery dates.
  • Monitor overall workflow to ensure no case sits idle or is delayed unnecessarily.
  • Partner closely with the Business Development Manager (BDM) and Business Development Specialist (BDS), keeping them informed through clear documentation and timely communication.
  • Log and coordinate all internal remakes, ensuring updates and revised timelines are communicated back to doctors.
  • Approve digital designs as required, ensuring accuracy and readiness for production, including implant-supported restorations when applicable.
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working in an operations, case coordination, or customer-facing role within a dental lab, healthcare, or contract manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental implants, including terminology and workflows, is a strong plus but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in customer service, operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven customer service experience with a professional, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive timelines and expectations.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working in production-driven settings where accuracy, urgency, and follow-through matter.
  • Proficiency with ABS or similar case management / lab software systems a plus.
