Education Specialist
The Education Specialist provides specialized instruction and individualized support to students with disabilities to ensure meaningful academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth. This role develops and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborates closely with families and multidisciplinary teams, differentiates instruction, monitors student progress through ongoing assessment and data analysis, and fosters an inclusive, positive learning environment. The Education Specialist is responsible for maintaining compliance with special education timelines and requirements while promoting student achievement, independence, and character development aligned with the school's mission.
Orange County Educational Arts Academy ("OCEAA") is a TK-8 independent charter school specializing in dual language immersion programming which serves over 600 students. Our mission at OCEAA is simple: to nurture all learners to become creative, critical thinkers by providing high quality standards-based instruction through the arts, technology, language and culture. We have a diverse population; approximately 70% of our students are low income, 38% are English Learners and 15% are Students with Disabilities.
