Air Liquide is hiring for a Buyer in Santa Ana, CA.

Responsibilities will include processing purchase orders from MRP, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, and liaising with inventory teams and management.

• Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
• Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
• Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with the inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
• Assess quality of stock received and elevate discrepancies to suppliers and management.
• Handle outside processing.
• Disposition NCRs on time.
• Coordinate with accounting for supplier payments & resolutions etc.

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).
• SAP.
• Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $90,000 - $105,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
