Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 per year
A bit about usWe are a global engineering and manufacturing company that designs industrial water and wastewater treatment systems for regulated environments including marine, offshore, and industrial operations. Our membrane-based technologies help customers meet environmental discharge regulations while operating safely and efficiently.
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our collaborative engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on custom, project-based systems supporting critical industrial applications, with a strong focus on problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do- Review project requirements and design information to ensure completeness and feasibility
- Design control systems based on customer specifications
- Develop electrical designs and drawings using AutoCAD, including modifications to existing systems
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to define scope, functions, and timelines
- Analyze reports, drawings, and test data to support project planning and design
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation
- Ensure designs align with scope of work, quality standards, and applicable codes
- Support sales teams with scope development and proposal estimates
- Perform inspection and surveillance related to outsourced electrical procurement
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
- 3–5 years of experience designing control systems for OEM equipment
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Experience designing control panels using relay or PLC control
- Strong technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience writing PLC control logic
- Knowledge of plant process control and monitoring systems
- General IT knowledge
This position is based in a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to moderate noise, dust, moving mechanical parts, and varying temperatures. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and use of appropriate PPE.
