Position Overview
Quality Engineer – Manufacturing (Santa Ana,CA). 100% on‑site, reports to Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain Quality organization. Located on the OC Campus (Santa Ana – Cardiac Surgery, Structural Heart; Irvine – Neurovascular).
Key Responsibilities- Project management for sustaining and NPI projects.
- Manage NCMRs, CAPAs and other quality activities.
- Execute Test Method Validations and support process validation activities (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Lead DMAIC problem‑solving initiatives.
- Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality standards and protocols for material processing.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards.
- Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms; conduct quality assurance tests.
- Perform statistical analysis and document corrective actions.
- Specialize in design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, reliability, inventory control, or R&D quality as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 4+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Quality.
- Advanced degree with 2+ years of experience, or PhD with 0 years of experience.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (nice to have).
- First‑time quality experience.
- Animal tissue processing experience.
- ASQ certification such as CQE or CQA.
- Foreign Baccalaureate degrees must satisfy 8C.F.R. §214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Benefits & CompensationSalary range: $98,400–$147,600 (USD). Eligible for Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
