A Day in the Life

As a Reporting QC Specialist, you’ll be responsible for accurately calculating and validating stack testing results using spreadsheets and handwritten field records. The compensation range for this role is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.

  • Compiles, analyzes, and reports field data collected from test projects under the supervision of Reporting QC Specialists and Managers
  • This position works with Project Managers, Field Technicians and other reporting staff to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of test reports and other documents
  • Write and assemble documents such as test protocols or test reports using templates, following style guides and SOPs
  • Perform review of draft documents for details like grammar and spelling
  • Communicate regularly with field and reporting staff to ensure test reports are completed in a timely manner
  • Understand roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and third-party accreditation standards
  • Performing various clerical work where needed

  • Bachelor degree in science/engineering or related field preferred
  • High School diploma is acceptable where writing/math/other skills can be demonstrated
  • Technical writing experience beneficial
  • Familiarity with EPA test methods, permits, and regulatory requirements beneficial
  • Field testing experience is beneficial
  • Intermediate user of cloud-based Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel & Word), and PDF editing software
  • Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening

  • Sitting, standing, and walking
  • Must be able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting materials up to 20 pounds #LI-MEG #LI-KJ1
