About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Plumbing Engineer to join our client's growing team in Fountain Valley, CA. This is a hands-on design role focused on delivering engineering solutions for large commercial construction projects from concept through completion.

The ideal candidate thrives in a production-driven environment, enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, and has a track record of designing plumbing systems for sophisticated facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing system design from concept through construction documents
• Deliver high-volume, high-quality production work in a deadline-driven environment
• Develop and coordinate detailed Revit-based 3D models with multidisciplinary teams
• Perform system sizing, layout, and engineering calculations
• Select and specify plumbing equipment and collaborate directly with vendors and manufacturers
• Review and process submittals and technical documentation
• Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams
• Support field operations, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Maintain professional communication with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial plumbing design experience
• Experience supporting projects such as:
  High-rise buildings, Healthcare facilities, Stadiums and arenas, Educational facilities, Data centers, Large commercial developments
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a high-production environment
• Strong proficiency in Revit
• Working knowledge of plumbing codes and NFPA standards
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
