The Indirect Tax Senior Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of indirect tax compliance, planning and strategy while leveraging technology and automation to drive efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in indirect tax matters, including U.S. sales and use tax, VAT, GST, and other transaction‑based taxes across multiple jurisdictions in U.S. and Canada. This position will be reported directly to the Sr.

Director of Tax. The Indirect Tax Senior Manager will also conduct training to teams in the U.S.

Indirect Tax Compliance & Management
  • Oversee end‑to‑end indirect tax compliance processes including sales tax, use tax, VAT, GST, and other transaction taxes across all applicable jurisdictions
  • Manage timely and accurate preparation and filing of indirect tax returns
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and international indirect tax regulations
  • Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and assess impact on business operations
  • Lead indirect tax audits and manage relationships with tax authorities
Tax Technology & Automation
  • Evaluate and recommend new tax technology platforms to enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with IT and accounting teams to integrate tax technology with ERP systems
  • Implement and optimize indirect tax compliance automation
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Accounting, Legal, IT, and Operations
  • Partner with external tax advisors and consultants as needed
  • Support special projects and ad hoc tax incentive analysis
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field (Masters in Business Taxation is a plus)
  • Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in indirect tax (combination of public accounting and corporate experience is a plus)
  • CPA, CMI or other relevant professional certification preferred
  • Proven experience with indirect tax systems and automation tools
  • Demonstrated experience leading tax audits
  • Hands‑on experience with indirect tax software (e.g. Vertex, Avalara, Sovos, Thomson Reuters One Source, etc.)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Change management and process improvement mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills #LI-EC1
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
