Green Meadows Home Health is looking for a CHHA in the South OC area.

The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) provides personal care and related services in the home under the direction, instruction, and supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or other licensed healthcare professional. The CHHA helps patients maintain their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and comfort at home.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and dishwashing.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) as instructed.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and prescribed therapy activities.
• Observe and report changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising nurse.
• Follow the patient care plan as directed by nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

• Valid and current Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in CA.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in home care or a similar setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if travel required).
• CPR certification may be required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, and standing.
• Capable of assisting clients with mobility and physical transfers.
