A Day in the Life Reporting to the VP of IT, the Systems Engineer is a professional responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Lendistry’s information technology infrastructure. They play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems, networks, and hardware/software components. Services and systems include Identity Management, Directory Services, Cloud Services, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing Attendance and Reliability:
Regular attendance during business hours and reliable punctuality are essential functions of this position, and conformance with Lendistry’s attendance policy is a key responsibility.

Comply with the regulatory recordkeeping requirements, including retaining, archiving, and producing the electronic communication data according to the applicable laws and regulations.

Follow company policies and procedures, including adhering to the approved applications and platforms for electronic communication, reporting any violations or issues, and cooperating with the compliance, legal, HR, and audit teams.

System Design and Implementation:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design efficient, scalable IT systems. Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software components including servers, networks, operating systems, databases, and applications.

System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Monitor and maintain the health and performance of IT systems, ensuring smooth operations and resolving issues or outages. Perform routine maintenance such as patching, updates, resource optimization, and backups.

System Optimization & Performance Monitoring:
Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks. Analyze performance trends and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Technical Support & User Assistance:
Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with software configuration, hardware troubleshooting, and the proper utilization of IT resources.

Documentation & Reporting:
