Network Engineer III

New American Funding is hiring a Network Engineer III to support our growing Azure cloud environment. We're looking for an experienced cloud networking professional with deep expertise in Azure networking, Express Route, Palo Alto firewalls, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

• Support and troubleshoot Azure networking services and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Manage Express Route, VNet Peering, Private Endpoints, VPN Gateways, and related network services.
• Configure and support Palo Alto firewalls in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Act as an escalation point and cloud networking SME for complex issues.
• Partner with cloud, engineering, and security teams to onboard new services and improve network performance.
• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and knowledge-base articles.

• 6+ years of Network Engineering experience
• 5+ years of hands‑on Azure networking experience
• Advanced Palo Alto Firewall experience (App-, Content-, User-)
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders

• VNet Peering
• Private Endpoints / Private Link
• VPN Gateways
• Azure network connectivity and troubleshooting

This is an onsite position in Santa Ana, CA and is not eligible for remote work. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and able to verify employment eligibility.

If based in New American Funding’s offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified.

For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.
