We’re hiring an OMS Application Support Engineer to join a utilities-focused IT team on a 12+ month contract. You’ll be the go-to subject matter expert for the Outage Management System, responsible for operational support, system configuration, upgrades, and data analysis. This role requires hands-on work with OMS platforms, SQL databases, Python scripting, and Windows Server environments. You will collaborate with IT teams, support PST hours, and participate in on-call rotation.

What you’ll do:

• Provide operational and maintenance support for the OMS application.
• Lead OMS configuration, testing, and support during database and OS upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve OMS issues, perform data analysis, and respond to SQL data requests tied to electrical utility events.
• Create and maintain scripts (Python/shell) and technical documentation, including test plans and configuration guides.
• Work PST hours and rotate on-call responsibilities.

Must-haves:

• Maintenance experience with back office support of the CGI Outage Management System application at an Electrical Utility or similar.
• Open Grid Network, formerly known as PragmaUP/PragmaLINE, SQL database, python, windows server maintenance and operational support
