Outage Management Advisor

Trident Consulting is seeking a Outage Management Advisor for one of our clients in Santa Ana, CA (Tue & Wed-onsite) / Remote Option Available
. A global leader in business and technology services.

Provide subject matter expertise supporting the CGI Outage Management System (OMS) application at SCE (Open Grid, formerly known as PragmaUP/PragmaLINE). The role includes operational and maintenance support, system configuration, data analysis, database support, testing, documentation, and collaboration with IT teams to support OMS-related projects and operational activities.

• Provide operational and maintenance support for the CGI Outage Management System (OMS).
• Support PST working hours and participate in the on-call support rotation.
• Assist with system logic, processes, and data related to OMS projects, customer communications, and operational activities.
• Support database and operating system (OS) server upgrades, including OMS configuration, testing, and hands-on support.
• Collaborate with IT teams to maintain, improve, and implement communications, hardware, and software infrastructure.
• Perform data analysis and support data requests from SQL databases related to electrical utility events.
• Design, administer, and monitor grid application software configurations.
• Create and execute shell scripts and/or Python code.
• Write and review documentation for configuration processes, system logic, and test plans.

• Maintenance experience supporting the back-office CGI Outage Management System (OMS) application at an electrical utility or similar environment.
• Experience with Open Grid Network (formerly PragmaUP/PragmaLINE).
• Python scripting.
• Windows Server maintenance and operational support.

• SQL.
• Python scripting.

• Bachelor's Degree.
