Data Science Intern

What We Do

The intern will work in a program designed to help college students gain experience and develop the technology, professional and interpersonal skills to use throughout their career. First American Interns work in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industry—balanced with intern‑specific activities, executive level presentations and networking opportunities—while under the close supervision and guidance of a manager and/or mentor.

• Proficiency in working with data and understanding how to work with structured/unstructured datasets and Big Data.
• Hands‑on experience working with major Cloud technology platforms.
• The ability to meet with users and understand their high‑level technical requirements.
• An ingrained concern for the customer and representing our Company in the best professional manner possible.
• The potential to excel in the following competencies:
  Communication, Customer Focus, Ethics & Integrity, Teamwork & Adaptability, Productivity & Initiative.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• College‑level foundational courses for machine learning or deep learning.
• Good understanding of Statistics.
• General understanding of machine learning pipelines and coding experience in Python.

• College/University students enrolled in a graduate program, CS or CIS majors, with 0‑2 years’ of work experience.

$24.00 - $30.00 Hourly (base pay range; actual pay based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location).
