Responsibilities Include:
Investigate and coordinate process service Prepare and coordinate service of subpoenas for witness and custodians of record. Review client documents for privilege and coordinate production Coordinate with clients and experts re: case Draft correspondence, discovery, basic pleadings, subpoenas Assist in preparing attorneys for depositions, mediations, and trial Perform legal research Conduct necessary cost analysis (i.e. Haniff-Howell, etc.) Conduct E-discovery
Qualifications:
1+ years of paralegal experience BA/BS and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program or Paralegal Certification per CB&P 6450 (must be provided upon hire) Computer proficiency, including with MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail Great written and verbal communication skills supporting excellent customer service skills E-discovery experience preferred Personal Injury, Premises Liability and/or Insurance Defense experience a plus Trial preparation/assistance experience a plus.
