Join one of California's fastest-growing estate and probate law firms as our Lead Probate Attorney. Based in San Diego, we're a dynamic team of 10 attorneys handling probate, estate planning, and litigation matters across the state. We're looking for an experienced, forward-thinking attorney to lead our thriving probate team, mentor talented professionals, and help shape the next chapter of our firm's growth.
You'll oversee a dedicated team, including another attorney and six skilled paralegals, while managing your own caseload and refining systems that keep our practice running smoothly. Whether you prefer working remotely, in a hybrid setup, or at our San Diego office, we provide the flexibility and support you need to thrive. Compensation:$140,000 - $160,000+ yearly depending on experience
Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of probate attorneys and paralegals.
- Manage and oversee probate cases across multiple California counties.
- Streamline workflows, improve case management systems, and optimize team efficiency.
- Collaborate with other practice leads to deliver seamless, full-service client solutions.
- Handle probate proceedings, estate administration, and related matters with professionalism and care.
- Represent clients with excellence and uphold the firm's reputation for compassionate, high-quality service.
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives that promote growth, innovation, and a positive team culture.
- Licensed California attorney in good standing.
- 2+ years of probate law experience, ideally across several California counties.
- Deep understanding of California probate procedures and estate administration, with the ability to guide others.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and client service skills.
- Growth mindset and motivated to build, innovate, and lead a growing team.
