We're in search of a Logistics Specialist to handle transportation/logistics damage claims. Investigate shipment damage incidents and determine liability (carrier, supplier, etc.). Process and close claims using internal systems. Work with claims data and documentation in automated systems. Heavy use of Excel for data handling and reporting.

Duties
· Monitor, analyze key operational/financial indexes on a regular basis
· Find root causes for discrepancies between actual performance and forecast
· Analyze issues, make reports/recommendations as requested by team leader / head of department
Minimum requirements
· Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
· Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
· Written and verbal communication
Preferred Skills
· General knowledge of logistics and/or supply chain
· Experience with SAP, WMS, ERP

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $30 to $34/hour
