Logistics Specialist

Staffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances, located in Santa Ana, CA.

• Monitor and analyze key operational/financial indices regularly.
• Find root causes for discrepancies between actual performance and forecast.
• Analyze issues and make reports/recommendations as requested by the team leader/head of department.
• Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities.
• Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
• Revise production schedule, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions.
• Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, finance, or a relevant field.
• 1-3 years' experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of logistics and/or supply chain operations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

• Experience with SAP, WMS, and ERP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
