Facilities Custodian

Summary

The Facility Custodian position is responsible for performing all facility custodial duties. The ideal candidate will perform these tasks while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with ACI Jet’s employees, vendors, and clients by personally performing these duties or through subordinate staff members.

The Facility Custodian will report directly to the Facilities Lead Porter.

• Perform daily detailed cleaning of all ACI Jet facilities
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning duties
• Observe appearances and conditions of facilities and report needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring service to Facilities/GSE Lead
• Use company vehicle to retrieve supplies and materials necessary for completion of duties
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Ensure all ACI Jet maintenance requests are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure the safety and quality of all assigned duties and responsibilities by actively and positively participating in ACI Jet’s SQMS program.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently, in a high stress and fast paced environment
• Highly motivated and organized
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, sit, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Facility Custodial Experience (1+ years) – highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00/hr | DOE
