The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial painting, be knowledgeable in coatings, the painting project sequence, and be experienced in leading teams. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. - Job Setup - Review scope, schedule, and constraints before job start - Conduct pre-start walks with lead men - Confirm manpower, materials, access, equipment, and site readiness - Establish production expectations and quality standards
- Job Execution - Oversee 4-6 crews across multiple active projects - Visit jobs daily or every other day - Coordinate directly with GCs, owner reps, and property managers - Resolve field issues proactively without escalating - Monitor quality, pace, safety, and crew performance
- Closeout - Manage punch lists and touch-ups - Coordinate demobilization - Ensure jobs are truly complete and client-ready
- Leadership - Support and develop lead men - Hold crews accountable to standards - Communicate clearly and professionally under pressure
- 5+ years as a superintendent or senior field leader
- Commercial painting experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple short-duration jobs
- Strong GC and owner communication skills
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in commercial painting w/ paint & primers, brush/roll & spray techniques
- Prior management experience of paint crews
- Strong organizational skills in field and office
- Solid written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft office, timekeeping & scheduling software
- Able to work evenings and weekends when necessary
- Reliable, self-motivated, professional
- Base Salary: $105,000-$120,000 (DOE)
