Plans and coordinates the Hospital-wide Infection Control Program based on Hospital identified needs, CDC guidelines, OSHA and CAL-OSHA regulations, CMS requirements, Joint Commission standards.
RequirementsEducation/Licensure: Bachelor’s Degree (required) in Infection Control or related field.
Minimum Experience: 3 years full-time experience in Infection Control in an acute care setting.
Certification: Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred
Physical Demands: Light physical effort (lift/carry up to 10 lbs);
Occasional prolonged standing or walking.
