About the Opportunity

The Inner Layer Etch Assistant helps the Cupric/DES Etch Operator by catching layers after they have been processed through the Cupric Etch Machine and ensures that all panels are processed in accordance with specific guidance based upon the direction of the Team Leader, the information provided by the Traveler and Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P).

What You’ll Do
  • Catches layers after being processed from the Cupric Etch or DES Machine
  • Prepares layers for processing by taping and framing them
  • Ensures and maintains all quality standards by visually inspecting 100% of the layers and looking for any inconsistencies as noted in the Standard Operating Procedures
  • Properly completes the Process Analysis logs and Production logs are the sole responsibility of the operators
  • Communicates with Team Leader and/or Manufacturing Manager of any problems encountered which may prevent the completion of a manufacturing process
  • Engages in general maintenance and setup of equipment essential to job function
  • Performs duties of other essential job classifications as directed by the Team Leader or Manufacturing Manager
  • Monitors and recommends any necessary process and quality improvements
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Ensures that the general and department safety procedures are followed at all times

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedure, instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

The work environment requires frequent standing and walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 20 pounds, as well as repetitive hand motion and outward reaching.

Schedule
  • 2nd

    Shifts:

    4:00 pm to 12:30 am
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime and Saturday as needed
Job Type & Compensation

Full‑time/Permanent. California Pay Range: $17 USD – $18 USD. The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
