The Copper Plater I is responsible for processing panels through the cleaning line, loading and unloading plating tanks, changing filters and anode bags, adding copper to plating baskets, handling tin anode bars, and performing dumps and remakes of chemistries according to company procedures and schedules. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe work area and communicating effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Process boards through copper plating in a complete and timely manner according to production traveler and work instructions, ensuring all processes comply with ISO procedures.
• Perform dumps and remakes of chemistries per preventive maintenance schedule.
• Maintain and clean all department equipment.
• Ensure each job is accompanied by a traveler and that all previous steps are signed off.
• Carry out start‑up, operation, preventive maintenance, and quality tasks according to work instructions.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe area at all times.
• Communicate with managers and supervisors efficiently.

• Basic mathematical and reasoning ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong concentration and focus with minimal interruptions.
• Adherence to proper lifting techniques at all times.

• High School Diploma or GED desired.
• At least 1–2 years of copper plating experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
