General Purpose
The Tetra Filler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Tetra Pak filling equipment while maintaining compliance with all dairy, aseptic, quality, safety, and sanitation standards. The operator ensures product integrity, accurate documentation, equipment maintenance, and production efficiency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities- Operate Tetra Pak fillers safely and efficiently.
- Monitor fill weights and make adjustments as needed.
- Complete all production and CCP documentation accurately and timely.
- Perform package seal integrity testing.
- Operate and maintain coding equipment and ink supplies.
- Collect laboratory samples and maintain sample records.
- Handle packaging materials in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Perform material splices and change gaskets, valves, and sterile air filters as required.
- Complete preventative maintenance and basic equipment servicing.
- Maintain cleanliness of filler equipment, conveyors, and work areas.
- Monitor and maintain chemical tank levels, including hydrogen peroxide, caustic, and acid tanks.
- Complete sanitation duties according to the Master Sanitation Program.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reel dollies, and reel clamps after certification.
- Assist downstream packaging operations as needed.
- Utilize Tetra Pak equipment manuals and complete Tetra Code change documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Schedule Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm Off Saturday and Sunday

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Production or general work experience preferred
- Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment
- Working knowledge of state and federal dairy and aseptic regulations.
- Valid CDPH Cannery Operator License or ability to obtain within training requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified preferred.
