About the Opportunity:

The Pumice Operator in  the Photo departmentperformspumice scrub cleaning forouter layersto prepare for coating andHot Roller Laminator (HRL) processand ensures that all jobs are processed in accordance with

Team leader direction, Traveler information,workinstructionsand Standard Operating Procedures.

Please Note:

The available work schedule consists of second-shift hours (4:00pm - 12:30am); however, training will take place during the first shift (7:30 - 4:00pm).

What You’ll Do:

  • Reviews and verifies Traveler information and prepares the layers for cleaning process
  • Cleans panels using the Pumexmachine and/or using the manual pumice station
  • Rinses using hose and usesthe tabletop dryer to dry the panel;adjuststhedryerspeed as needed
  • Bakes panels using the vacuum oven
  • Removes excesspumicefrom wash station on monthly basisand remakes chemistry per company schedule
  • Maintains equipment according to maintenance schedules and company procedures
  • Visually inspects panels after processing for non-conformances
  • Performs other department-related tasksas needed

What You’ll Bring:

  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
  • Ability to read andunderstanddocuments such as Travelers, standard operating procedure,instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
  • Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
  • Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures
  • Must be able to work overtime as required

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED(Preferred)

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 2nd Shift (4:00pm to 12:30am)
  • Overtime and Saturdays as required

California Pay Range

$17—$19 USD

The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
