Location Profile:
Cherry Aerospace is a global leader in the design and manufacture of multi-piece fastening systems for the aerospace industry. The Cherry name is synonymous with aerospace rivets, and the Cherry Max line of rivets is the most widely used in industry.

The Cherry brand dates back to 1940 when Cherry Rivet Company introduced easily installed blind fasteners, which were quickly adopted as an aerospace industry standard. Operating out of a 286,000 square foot facility in Santa Ana, California, Cherry's full line of products includes blind rivets, blind bolts, rivet-less nut plates, shear pin fasteners, temporary fasteners, and installation tools.

Job Summary The Hands‑On Heading & Thread‑Rolling Trainer & Development Coordinator develops, evaluates, and advances cold heading and thread‑rolling capability across the organization. This role delivers structured, hands‑on training in safety, heading and thread‑rolling fundamentals, and standard work; evaluates operator skill using objective observational tools; maintains a current capability matrix; and partners with Manufacturing and Process Engineering to close skill gaps impacting safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

This is a shop‑floor–based, hands‑on role focused on building sustainable technical capability and workforce readiness in fastener manufacturing operations.

Safety fundamentals and safe work practices for high‑speed forming and rolling equipment

Cold heading fundamentals (wire preparation, cut‑off, die setup, punch alignment, part flow)
