Nurse Manager- NICU at Providence St Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. This position will work Full Time, 8-hr Day shifts.

Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population on one or more nursing units. Oversees the 24-operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, employee relations, patient satisfaction, practice guidelines for specialty, organizing and controlling.

Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.

• Plan, direct, and manage nursing care for designated patient population on one or more units.
• Oversee unit operation with accountability for leadership, budget, fiscal management, staffing, employee relations, patient satisfaction, and practice guidelines.
• Model proactive collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach.
• Develop programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.

• Required
  :
• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• California Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
• National specialty certification (within 1 year of hire).
• 5 years of recent experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Preferred
  :
• Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• Supervisory experience.

Pay Range: $74.54 - $117.65. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
