Summary

As a Supplier Quality Engineer Level 2, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products and materials supplied to our company. This mid‑level position involves conducting supplier audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Have excellent knowledge of manufacturing systems, repair process procedures, quality improvement programs, and design for manufacturability concepts.
  • Establish effective partnerships with internal customers.
  • Support new product development and supplier selection processes.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with suppliers regarding quality expectations and requirements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem‑solving activities to address quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to supplier quality activities.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

  • 3‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of product development, quality assurance, supplier quality engineering, supplier quality performance systems and engineering documentation.
  • Proven experience in supplier quality engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel to supplier locations up to 10%.

Compensation Range: $89,269.00 to $ USD.
