Job Description
Position Summary: Physical lab technicians perform testing on material to ensure they uphold against all the processes they go through. This position call upon advanced knowledge of shop math, print reading, and quality reporting.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Receive certifications on the following tests:
- Torque - unseated & seated + heat cycles
- Push out/Torque Out
- Single Shear
- Double Shear
- Vibration (when required)
- Impedence
- Durability/Embrittlement
- Participate in Round Robin/Gage R&R study.
- Differentiate accredited sites that perform OSP tests on business samples.
- Willingness to learn trouble shooting on Test Machines.
- Ensure tools / equipment meet standard and calibration requirements.
- Create MRRs on non-conforming products.
- Process and validate outside purchase jobs.
- Test results data entry.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- The ability to read and write English.
- Detail-oriented.
- Advanced NADCAP knowledge
- Advanced Math (converting metrics, pounds, temperatures)
- Advanced Print Reading
- Deep knowledge of Product & Customer Specification
- The ability to use complex gauges
- The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - computer skills
- Mechanical Testing experience (head ductility test, shear, tension, etc.)
- Willing and able to work overtime and weekends as business needs demand

Pay range: $21.50 to $30.00 USD Hourly based on a variety of factors. Eligible for the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year and 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance.
Employees are eligible to enroll in 401(k) plan.
