Sales Floor Manager

We're looking for an experienced Sales Floor Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume dispensary environment. This is more than a shift management role, you'll lead and develop bud tenders, drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and ensure every guest leaves with a positive experience.

• Lead, coach, and support bud tenders and sales associates throughout each shift.
• Ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
• Open and close the dispensary, including cash handling, register reconciliation, and security procedures.
• Manage staffing levels, break schedules, and daily task assignments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked sales floor.
• Ensure operational checklists, cleaning duties, and closing procedures are completed accurately.

• Create a welcoming environment that encourages customer loyalty and repeat business.
• Provide knowledgeable cannabis recommendations tailored to each guest’s needs.
• Lead by example in customer engagement, upselling, and sales performance.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining a positive experience.
• Stay current on cannabis products, strains, concentrates, edibles, beverages, vape products, and industry trends.

• Train, mentor, and develop bud tenders to build confidence, product knowledge, and sales skills.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, recognition, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct ongoing coaching and performance conversations.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Support company initiatives, promotions, and operational goals.

• Ensure strict compliance with all California cannabis regulations and company policies.
• Verify customer identification and eligibility requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, restocking, inventory documentation, and audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all cannabis products are stored, displayed, and tracked according to regulatory requirements.

• Communicate operational updates, staffing needs, customer feedback, and store performance to leadership.
• Document inventory discrepancies, cash variances, incidents, and compliance concerns promptly.
• Complete administrative tasks and reporting accurately and on time.
