Summary:

CED's competitive Sales Training Program provides the tools and training for learning the electrical distribution industry,  of one of the nation's fastest growing industries. In this position, you will learn all of the facets of  Royal Santa Ana . The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, exemplifies stellar time management and communication skills, and is excited to be empowered and involved in business goals and initiatives.

In this position, you will:

+  Learn all aspects of  Royal Wholesale Electric's business

+  Participate in on- the-job training and mentoring

+  Establish, develop, and maintain relationships and rapport with customers

+ Learn product, pricing, who we source from and how.

+ Work with customers to sell them the product they need for the jobs they are working on.

PC Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

+  Must be at least 18 years of age

+  Bachelor's Degree

+  Current, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

+  Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

Preferred Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree required.

Entry-level position; previous electrical experience is not required.  We will teach the "business".

Desire to work with customers, make and take orders, and like customer-service and relationship sales is a must.

Must be able to work at our office location in-person, Monday-Friday.

Hours:

7am-3:30pm

Must be organized, a great communicator and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

+  Conditions vary based on the trainee's current segment of the training and will include warehouse, office and external environments.

+  During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions.

+  Office segments may include sitting for extended periods.

+ Ability to learn and be flexible in what is needed of you daily, especially in the training-period.

+ This is an in-person position NOT REMOTE.  Must be able to work in the office Monday-Friday.

Essential Job Functions:

Enjoy winning sales orders and growing market share, through negotiations and reaching team oriented sales and GP goals.

+  Develop sales opportunities with current customers and build rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.

+  Develop accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.

+  Maintain a proactive approach to all accounts and their needs through constant communication and prompt responses

+  Provide competitive quotes for daily purchases, monthly buys and annual contracts.

+  Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery date; explaining stock-outs.

+  Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.

+  Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

+  Responsibilities also include counter sales, receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and occasionally customer delivery.

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $22 to $27 hourly.
