As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Santa Ana, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a cultural institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and collections. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card or License. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $30.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM
• Thur 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM
• Fri 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout galleries, collection areas, public spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
