DescriptionTeam Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring in the Santa Ana, CA area, and we are looking to hire an outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman! The successful candidate will handle new business projects within our Telecom Construction division and help establish Team Fishel as the leader in the utility construction industry in California.
Wage range: $26.00 to $30.00 an hour, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
Responsibilities- Planning and initiating projects.
- Establishing OSHA and customer safety requirements.
- Setting poles.
- Maintaining and repairing overhead fiber optic facilities.
- Installing new strand and lashing fiber.
- Installing and maintaining down guys, overhead guys, etc.
- Building risers, installing snow shoes/slack coils.
- Tree trimming.
- Must have 1+ years experience in the industry.
- Basic tools required could be climbing tools (belt and gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
- Valid CDL-A is strongly desired.
- Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.
- Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.

- Access, or potential access to, company funds.

- Working on sensitive infrastructure.
- Working on, or potentially working on, jobs covered by federal contracting requirements.
- Working on or near expensive equipment and materials.
- Entering, or the potential to enter, private residents’ homes.
- Driving company-owned vehicles.
- Compliance with FMCSA requirements.
