• Operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds, on a Monday-through-Friday schedule.
• Serve as a backup driver for our Santa Ana to Bakersfield transfer route.

• Class A Driver duties include safely operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to various destinations, complying with federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company policies.
• Route Planning:
  Strategically plan delivery routes, considering traffic, weather, and road conditions to ensure timely deliveries.
• Loading and Unloading:
  Assist with loading/unloading cargo and secure items to prevent damage during transit.
• Vehicle Inspections:
  Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical or safety issues and ensure roadworthiness.
• Communication:
  Coordinate with dispatch and customers to confirm schedules, adjust for changes, and provide updates as needed.
• Documentation:
  Maintain delivery logs, bills of lading, and other required documentation in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Adhere to hours-of-service regulations and take required breaks to ensure safety and prevent fatigue.
• Vehicle Security:
  Ensure vehicle and cargo are secured and safe at all times.
• Maintenance Reporting:
  Report maintenance or repair needs promptly to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
• Vehicle Cleanliness:
  Maintain a clean and organized vehicle for safety and professionalism.

• A high school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred; a combination of education and experience that provides necessary skills will qualify.
• Valid California Class A Driver’s license with a "T" endorsement (doubles, triples, tankers), manual transmission experience, and age 21 or older.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Medical Certification Clearance Card, FMSC Clearinghouse registration, and clean driving record required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience operating Class A vehicles; previous wholesale delivery and warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of driving laws, adherence to speed limits, and procedures in the event of an accident.
• Ability to perform long hours of driving and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Five-day work week with flexibility for overtime; basic English proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to sequence tasks and group similar items.
