Driver Class B

Clean Harbors in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to operate light and heavy-duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites. The role involves driving a 26‑ft box truck with lift gate, performing general labor, picking up hazardous waste from medical facilities, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Class B 26‑ft box truck with lift gate
• Heavy general labor duties
• Early shift (5 am start), 10‑14 hour days with overtime opportunities
• Pickup of hazardous waste from hospitals, laboratories, and clinics
• Automatic restriction vehicles acceptable
• Must hold Class B CDL with hazmat and passenger endorsements
• Must receive Hep B vaccination if not already done
• Required to attend a company‑paid 2‑week out‑of‑state academy

• Comply with all safety policies and act in a safe manner.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Load and unload equipment and hazardous waste.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at the time of service.
• Proper placarding of vehicles to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and reports.
• Follow local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
• Observe corporate operating guidelines and environmental H&S standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Be available on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
• Handle site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling.

• Valid Class B CDL.
• Experience operating various mobile devices.
• Physical fitness to meet job requirements.
• Successful completion of background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard 29 CFR 1910.34 facial hair requirements.

• Commercial driver experience.
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Previous hazmat experience.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Previous manual labor experience.
