Cost Accounting Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the organization's accounting and financial operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls, supports budgeting and forecasting activities, and provides financial insight to support business decisions. The individual will lead the accounting function while partnering with leadership to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Lead the month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury management.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and support audit‑related activities.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making.
• Lead, develop, and mentor accounting staff.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• CPA and/or CMA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP system implementation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
