Full Charge Bookkeeper

All Saints by-the-Sea Episcopal Church is seeking a detail-oriented, mission-driven Full Charge Bookkeeper to support the vital financial operations of our vibrant Church and Parish School. • Schedule:
  
  A full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
• Flexibility:
  Work takes place at our beautiful Santa Barbara office, but some days can be remote.
• Comprehensive Perks:

• Managing day-to-day A/P, A/R, deposits, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Preparing monthly financial reports, including income statements and actual-to-budget analyses.
• Processing payroll and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Partnering with leadership, Treasurer, committees, and outside auditors for budget & audit prep.
• Translating financial information into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders and leadership.

• Accounting Expertise:
  Collegiate-level knowledge of accounting principles (a degree or coursework in accounting/finance is preferred).
• Proven Track Record:
  Solid experience in bookkeeping or comparable accounting roles.
• Experience with nonprofit fund accounting is a major plus!
• Tech Savvy:
  Strong proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel.
• Core Strengths:
  Attention to detail, reliability, discretion, and the ability to work independently.
