Summer 2025 Ministry Team Staff

We have two summer staff positions that make ministry happen at Santa Barbara Christian Camp:

General summer staff participate in many aspects of Santa Barbara Camp, including food service, hospitality/housekeeping, recreation, program activities, groundskeeping, etc.

Lifeguard+summer staff have the additional responsibility of maintaining the safety of our guests using the pool and upkeep of the pool area.

Season runs from May 15th to mid-August. End of Summer dates to be determined.

Santa Barbara requires that staff be 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent.

Do you want to be part of bringing fun to camp ministry? Then come and join the Ministry Team. The Ministry Team Staff are responsible for running Santa Barbara recreation venues, shop, kitchen, and hospitality. This includes helping run recreation activities and games, opening/closing procedures, maintaining/ordering supplies, daily operations, providing for safety, ongoing maintenance, and of course fun.

All jobs listed are Summer Seasonal full-time. We require you to live on-site for the dates listed. The pay rate is $330 a week depending on position and experience. In addition to the cash salary, summer staff also receive food and housing which is valued at $821 per month.

Santa Barbara is a 155-acre site located in the beautiful Los Padres National Forest at an elevation of 2200 feet. Although Santa Barbara is surrounded by great natural beauty and great recreational opportunities, our primary goal is to see our campers come to know, in a real and personal way, the saving grace of Jesus Christ. It is our passion to see lives changed!

Preamble

TM Camping, in accordance with the historic Baptist tradition, hold to Believers Baptism by Immersion, Liberty of Conscience, the Separation of Church and state, and the Priesthood of the Believer. We also affirm the following distinctive which need emphasis at the present time:

I. THE AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE

The Bible is the inspired, authoritative and infallible Word of God and is our sole rule of faith and practice. It is the standard by which all human conduct and creeds should be tried.

II. THE TRINITY

There is only one true and living God who is manifested in three eternal and coequal person;
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God possesses holiness, omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, love, mercy, and all other perfections. All humankind owed to Him supreme faith and obedience.

III. HUMANKIND
