This is a full‑time, on‑site Business Development Professional role based in Santa Barbara, CA. In this role you will identify and establish partnerships with potential clients, generate leads, and foster relationships to grow the business. Daily responsibilities include meeting with business owners, understanding their needs, presenting tailored solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client success. You will also stay informed about market trends and actively engage in networking events to promote BBSI’s services.
Qualifications- Experience in Business Development, Client Relationship Management, and Sales
- Strong Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation skills
- Knowledge of Human Resources, Risk Management, Payroll, or Staffing solutions is preferred
- Ability to identify client needs and develop tailored solutions
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable working in a team‑oriented environment
- Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
- Familiarity with local business communities and networking is an advantage
